"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
Joshua 24:15
Our church hosted a huge summer outreach event this weekend called the
Summer Bash. It was a free event for the community with inflatables, water fun, train and pony rides, mini golf, face painting, sports and pie contests, awesome entertainment and fireworks at the end of the evening! It was a beautiful day and there were between 2,500 and 3,000 people in attendance!
Praise the Lord!
Stephen did a TON of work for this and was the stage manager for the day, so I just wanted to make sure I say...
WAY TO GO HONEY!!!
Please enjoy my Summer Bash scrapbook!
We celebrated Joshua's birthday with the Mohring side of the family this weekend.
Lots of fun and cake was had!
Mommy, I just woke up from a nap - I'm not sure about this whole present thing!
Ooh, the retro family play farm!!! I don't know who's more excited!
Yummy peach
yogurt cupcakes!
Still a little sleepy but a little sugar should clear that up!
Jeremiah and Grandma Mo enjoying birthday treats!
Daddy loves you buddy!
There's a smile from the birthday boy!
And now we're getting silly!

We couldn't let Joshua's birthday pass without doing
something fun. The hot weather has limited our outdoor activities so we headed inside to the Children's Museum. No shortage of things to do there! I love watching them explore and discover!
We didn't do much to celebrate Joshua's birthday because we will celebrate with Grandpa & Grandma Mo on Saturday, and the Mac family next weekend. But here are the highlights of the day - and a grainy, backwards webcam shot of my baby and I!
Jeremiah thought Joshua needed some "big boy" sippy cups so he picked some out at the store and gave them to Joshua...
I think Joshua likes his new cup.
And Joshua got his wish - a kiss from his brother...
...and a Chicken McNugget in his mouth (and one in his hand).
Can life get any better at one year old?
June 24, 2008 was a very happy day! We love you so much buddy!
Happy 1st Birthday Joshua!
Joshua discovered the joy of chocolate yesterday with some
new yummy cookies Jeremiah and I made. There's no turning back now Joshua...
...you became a father! And an awesome one at that. Thank you for who are you and everything you do for our family! We are SO blessed to have you! We love you!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY STEPHEN!
