A Glimpse

StudioJRU

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. 1 Chronicles 29:11

My talented blog friend Jennifer has a wonderful Sunday post called "A Glimpse." Here is her inspiration...

splen·dor –noun
1.brilliant or gorgeous appearance, coloring, etc.; magnificence
2.an instance or display of imposing pomp or grandeur
3.grandeur; glory; brilliant distinction
4.great brightness; brilliant light or luster.

These are often simple or ordinary things, but if we would only take a moment to look closer... they are awesome! Something doesn't have to be giant or expensive or extra ordinary to be an example of splendor. It is easy to forget to stop and take a moment to be grateful for just how blessed we really are... with the little things. Life is full of blessings and beautiful inspiration! I hope to share a little of that with you.

I love this idea and she's inviting us to join in!

I found my glimpse for the week at the Farmers' Market yesterday in good old fresh sweet corn. I think it is just gorgeous! God knew what He was doing here!

Head on over to Jennifer's beautiful blog to see more glimpses and to share your own!
