I have tons and tons of pictures to edit and post from this past weekend. I have dishes to do and laundry to fold. I should go to bed soon.
But I just wanted to write about fireflies.
I have never noticed them so much as I did tonight driving home from church. I don't know why, but they just captivated me. Thank the Lord I didn't get in an accident because my eyes were not on the road as much as they should have been.
I wanted so badly for the boys to see them. I wanted so badly to take a picture of them.
But the picture will just have to be in my head for now.
And I will find them again for the boys to see because it is truly a magical thing.
Thank you God for fireflies.

I love the fireflies too. I think they've been thicker this summer than any other that I remember. A few weeks ago I let my inner child out and caught one. I love driving out in the country and watching them light up next to the road. Thank God for fireflies.
